Hoi, sorry if this is a bit crazy for the first post, but I thought we'd have to start discussing this as early as possible. docs.google.com/document/d/1vHWAEUPriD3DvPrUWAWC8z_jeIYVnUUtj9XYq0pBLhc/edit?pli=1This document, created by some anon, documents most of what we got down in the 2013 threads. Besides some crunch, it includes a pastebin of fluff/crunch ideas, some pastebins of units, and links to the old threads. Are we going to build up from this? Take some ideas from it, but not all? Just start fresh? As someone who used to write a bit of fluff, and who compiled some of the pastebins, I'd specifically like to know whether we're keeping the three factions. We don't have to have a final decision immediately; just for discussion.

No reason to start fresh when we have a baseline to work with. I must rush around for daily life activities at the moment but I shall return with my two cents on how to proceed.

Absolutely, no point in starting from scratch.

As I mentioned in the thread, I believe contacting whoever's email that is inside the google docs if it isn't one of you two.
Now what I wish to cover may seem obvious to you and/or you already know but I just wish to make sure we're all on the same page. Just kind of project management stuff.
The opening act of any major task or project should be preparing the 'environment' around the project to make progression easier. In this case I believe that a proper plan or design document may go a long way. If that seems too much trouble for a side project we're working on in our free time, we can try and steam ahead without it.
For I think how we should proceed, this being a rudimentary plan that can be subject to change: Worry about getting a "Paper Prototype" done as soon as possible. What this entails: -Deciding on the base rules of the game -Getting at least infantry for at least one of the armies. -Playing through a few matches on some method online to get a feel for how it works and if anything should be changed.
As for general thoughts, I think planning for 3 armies is fine though for a while we should only work on one or two. Worry entirely about crunch at first, fluff is secondary.
This is a lot later than I expected, but I walked away from it multiple times also it feels disorganised. I can probably write a more thoughtout one tomorrow.
__Edit an IRC may also be useful.

If there already is one and I just didn't know about it or rizon is preferred just let me know.
